Precision Business Services ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. It applies to this website and to our dealings with you as a client or prospective client.
Who we are
Precision Business Services is a business advisory firm based in Cronulla, NSW, ABN 48 243 280 036. You can contact us at info@precisionbusinessco.com.au.
What we collect
We only collect personal information you choose to give us. The main way this happens is through our contact form, which asks for:
- Your name and business name
- Your email address and (optionally) phone number
- The service you're enquiring about and approximate business revenue range
- Any message you write to us
If you become a client, we'll collect additional information needed to provide our services — for example, financial records, tax file numbers, ABNs, and details of your business structure.
This website does not currently use cookies or analytics scripts. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy first.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Respond to your enquiry and arrange any meeting you've requested
- Provide the services you've engaged us to provide
- Send you relevant communications about our services or your matters
- Meet our legal and professional record-keeping obligations
We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate our business. Your information may be processed by:
- Formspree — processes contact form submissions on our behalf before they reach our inbox.
- Microsoft 365 — provides our email and document storage.
- Xero or MYOB — if you become a bookkeeping or CFO client, your financial data will be stored in the accounting platform we use to deliver the service.
- Your tax agent, lawyer, or other professional advisers — only where you've asked us to coordinate with them.
We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law (for example, in response to a valid request from a regulator).
How we store and protect your information
We store your information using reputable cloud-based services protected by industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and at rest. We keep your information for as long as it's needed to provide our services and to meet our legal record-keeping obligations (which can be up to seven years for some financial records under Australian law), and we securely dispose of it after that.
Your choices and rights
You can:
- Ask us what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything that's wrong
- Ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep
- Unsubscribe from any non-essential communications at any time
To make any of these requests, just email us at info@precisionbusinessco.com.au.
Complaints
If you're not happy with how we've handled your personal information, please contact us first and we'll do our best to resolve it. If you're still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
